Borough Council issues.
BSACC had represented at the SBC planning meeting regarding the county Ground extension field application on the 13th March.  The application was passed. Cllr Wright reported that there were possible issues regarding the erection of buildings and the commercial nature of the proposal. Interpretation of the covenant was the right of its creators (or their legal representation).  It might be helpful if any surviving family and/or the commercial successors of the solicitor responsible could be found.
Cllr Wright was pursuing progress on the Controlling Migration Fund committee but was being hampered by staff cuts at the Civic Offices.

Policing issues.
PC Thompson was unable to be present but had provided a report and statistics (attached), which was read by the chair.

Priorities
At this moment in time there are no real priorities for the area.  I am fully aware of the groups that gather around the broad green community centre and I am trying to get regular patrols done to try and get the message to them that we are about.  Although not all of them are doing anything wrong it is the small minority of them that give the rest a bad name.  Also with the warmer weather (hopefully coming soon) there maybe a rise in people hanging around there and this is something I will keep my eye on.

If there are anything you feel I should be aware of and any areas that I should maybe concentrate on then feel free to let Pam know and she can email me your contact details of the issue you have raised.

Best wishes

Craig

Other business.
The BSACC notice board had been vandalised again.  Consideration would be given in re-siting the board to a safer place.
A site meeting had been held with Cllr John Firmin of South Parish Council to discuss in more detail refurbishment of the multi use games area (MUGA) at Broadgreen Centre.
