Matters arising from minutes.
New proposals for the all-weather pitch in the County Ground extension field had been made. Most (but not all) residence had been leafleted advertising a consultation event at Broadgreen Community Centre on 14th June between 4pm and 7pm
It was noted that work had started on the conversion to shops and flats at 7-9 Corporation St.

The latest Community Centre newsletter had been distributed to over 1000 local households. Included was the new Facebook address;

It was noted that Central Swindon South Parish Council meetings would be held at the community centre from July.
Chair Pam Freegard read a letter of reply from SBC leader Cllr David Renard, dated 2nd May 2017 confirming funding for Frances' position.
Enquires had been received at the community centre regarding the proposed credit union collection point. It was agreed that the chair would contact Andrew Hill at the Borough for an update.
The African festival at the County Ground on 1st July was promoted.
Other business.
The next full parish council meeting would be on 20th June at the Civic Offices.
There was a discussion on racism and radicalisation issues.
Eiles Robinson announced that she was moving to a new address outside the BSACC area and was therefore resigning her membership. The chair thanked Eiles for her work and expressed hope that she would not lose contact.
Confirmation of treasurer's statement.

The treasurer announced that the 2016-17 accounts had been audited. The independent auditor had requested a donation to Wiltshire Air Ambulance in lieu of a fee and sum of £50 was agreed without objection.
