Streetsmart.
An apology had been received for Rachel Ind who had been due to attend to discuss the ongoing flytip problems.

Closure of Islington St walk in centre.
Cllr Wright  reported that although 'at least 300' people had been surveyed there did ot appear to have been any paper survery forms available.
In reply to a question, Cllr Wright said no new hospital was being considered despite the ward councillors' concerns.  An enlarged A&E unit and greater use of private hospitals was being considered.

Planning.
Cllr Wright highlighted the reviews of the Local Plan and Town Centre Movement Strategy - the latter in particular would impact the BSACC area. It was suggested that more information should be sought for discussion at the next meeting.

Other Issues.
The ward councillors were pursuing action on bringing vacant properties back into use.  The power were available but not being taken up by the borough Officers.

An application had been made for a stand at the County Ground extension field - this would be within the existing boundary fence of the pitch. The former bowling green could be used for a volleyball court.

Changes were being considered to parking arrangements in Lagos St to separate shop loading bays from residential spaces.  There was also a question about responsibility for maintaining the 'street for living' hedges.

Problems had been experienced with large delivery vehicles blocking traffic particularly in Rosebery St.  Cllr Wright would ask Parking Services to engage with shopkeepers to find a solution.

It was noted that the temporary mobile CCTV deployment seemed to have reduced anti-social incidents.
