Flytipping.
Rob Williams had looked into Council Tax rebanding but had been unable to find a means of achieving this. However there might be potential for securing a Community Protection Order against SBC through the Magistrates Court.
Cllr Firmin said flytipping, including in Broadgreen, would be the subject of a forthcoming SBC meeting debate. It was noted that flytip seemed to be ignored even when visible on CCTV the ward councillors would be raising this with SBC.
Asked if the parish could help with enforcing tidiness outside shops Cllr Firmin replied that this was a Borough issue.
Police issues.
There had been a rise in local police activity, possibly in response to reports of knife caches.
Rob Williams and Bob Walter would look into using online police crime statistics to replace the former police monthly meeting reports.
County Ground.
A rumour was noted that Swindon Football in the Community Trust was seeking an additional storage container. Cllr Firmin said that any such storage would probably need a new planning application procedure. Concern was also raised that the gate from Tesco's car park into the County Ground might be closed.
Community Centre games area.
It was noted that older children and young adults were using the area reserved for younger children. Cllr Firmin would look into a request for better signage.
Antisocial car parking.
Cllr Firmin reported on Cllr Bob Wright's behalf that the ward councillors team was trying to get some more enforcement officers and possibly a camera car for Manchester Rd.
Confirmation of the treasurer's statement (for two months).
Proposed; Bob Wedge, Seconded; Paul Izquierdo, carried
