Borough Council locality issues.
The repeat flytipping near the Manchester Rd/County Rd junction was getting worse.
There were still wheelie (Euro) bins obstructing the footways outside some local businesses. Mark Walker suggested this should be reported to SBC Highways Department.
Customers were still parking outside shops in Manchester Rd. Mark Walker said parking services staff were attending but could not be there all the time and the registration number taking cars could only be used outside schools.
The Shrubbery at the end of Medgebury Place was encroaching on the Fleming Way footway again. Mark Walker confirmed this was a Borough responsibility rather than a Parish Council one and would follow it up.
Bollards were being installed at the County Ground car park to deter antisocial car use.
The CMF door to door advice was being extended slightly beyond the limits of Broadgreen and might include a second round of visits. Some of the money had been spent on extra CCTV at the Broadgreen Centre and there was still about £30000 unallocated. Gated alleyways was still being considered.
Other business.
Work on the Broadgreen Centre games area would start on or about 29th November. There would be a friendly football game organised by the breakfast club at the community centre on 11th November.
The 'free shop' at the community centre on 24th November would be a special event with extra attractions.
There would be a Community Services day at the centre on 6th December, 3pm - 6pm
Treasurer's report.
The treasurer's report that the donation to Wiltshire Air Ambulance in lieu of the Auditor's fee had been sent as directed by the October meeting.
Residents association for the Swindon Town Centre located, "Broad Street Area Community Council." And general stuff related to that.
