Matters arising from the minutes (not covered elsewhere)
The chair had received a reply from SBC regarding the Carfax St closure - public access was not possible due to unspecified safety issues.

Policing issues.
There had been no contact from Wiltshire Police

Borough Council issues
There had been a reduction In the flytipping and drug abuse in the Marsh Farm area but no improvement in Broadgreen or Queenstown.  Neither CCTV nor the schools education work seemed to be having any effect.

Action was being taken by SBC againest nuisance related to the TAP and Barrell public house but there had not been enough reports to bring in a PSPO in the area.

The shop at the corner of Broad St and Salisbury St (103 Broad St) was to be a frozen fish shop not a takeaway so did not need new planning permission.

The proposal for the new hotel in Aylesbury St had been scaled down slightly.

Broadgreen Street Food Festival.
This was agreed to have been a success and Gifty Tawiah confirmed that it would be repeated next year.  There was a discussion on good and less good details to be taken into consideration when planning the 2019 festival.  It was brought up that some residents had been confused by the closure of Broad St, Gladstone St and Sailsbury St.  One block away from the event.  The signage and advanced leafletting was to have been supplemented by volunteers on the day to advise residents on the difficulty of turning around cars but these had been redeployed to other tasks.

Confirmation of the treasurer's statement
Proposed; John Freegard, Seconded; Rob Williams, carried
